"You're such a dummy. Like I'd ever be scared of you. Like those fucks could ever change what's between you and me. We're too much for them. We can't be touched. Never. I love you too, Taako, more than anything, and nothing's gonna ever change that, alright? We're solid, hun."

RATHER BE

clean bandit

[]

We're a thousand miles from comfort, we have traveled land and sea
But as long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be
I would wait forever, exalted in the scene
As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat

With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay
Strolling so casually
We're different and the same, get you another name
Switch up the batteries

If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shake me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be

We set out on a mission to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing's incomplete
It's easy being with you, sacred simplicity
As long as we're together, there's no place I'd rather be

LUP
Taako's sister, his twin, his heart. They've been through so much before their previous journey, and the last two years in Hadriel have been an exercise of falling back into step, of finding each other in their jagged hearts. They can't be truly kept down though, and despite their change of scenery, they have each other- and that's always enough to survive.

As much as he wishes they all could have gone home, he can't find it in himself to wish she wasn't here. Deerington could be dangerous just as Hadriel was, but he knows they're best with each other. So time to buckle in, roll up their sleeves, and make a stew from whatever items they can find- one day at a time.
